Our school uses the ELSA programme to help children with their emotional wellbeing. ELSA sessions are run by a specially trained adult who works with pupils in a calm, supportive space where they can talk about their feelings, build confidence, and learn helpful strategies for managing worries or challenges.
The aim is simple: to make sure every child feels listened to, understood, and supported so they can thrive both in and out of the classroom. ELSA gives children someone they trust, time to talk, and tools that strengthen their emotional resilience.
