Class 2 spent the day as evacuees in Retford. After travelling on a vintage bus, they visited Retford Library to look at old photos of Retford and to find out what Sutton School did to help during World War 2. They then moved onto looking around the Town Hall, especially looking for Jack's great granddad who was Mayor in 1957. Next was an evacuee lunch in the park, before looking at and sketching the War Memorial. After a look around Retford Museum, it was back on the vintage bus to 'home'.
