Daneshill Forest School

Years 2,3,4 and 5 spent the day at Daneshill Nature Reserve working with The National Wildlife Trust in their first ever Forest School at Daneshill.
They started with lighting a camp fire and playing a game of hide and seek. They then went on a nature walk alongside part of the lake, looking at the different trees, plants and wildlife.
After lunch they gathered objects from around the area and created a piece of art with their group. Next came shelter building. This was a big hit with everyone (along with toasted marshmallows) and some fantastic shelters were built.
