The Lord's prayer with Makaton signs.

We had a wonderful discussion about prayer in class the other day. The children raised an insightful question about how someone with a hearing impairment could hear the words of the Lord's Prayer. We explored the potential impact this might have on individuals and brainstormed ideas on how we could address this concern. It's heartening to share that we've been learning the Lord's Prayer in Makaton. I am immensely proud of Birch Class for their compassion and thoughtful consideration of others.
