We are very excited to start the Spring term! We have lots of lovely experiences planned including a visit from the firefighters and a Great Fire of London workshop! ☺️

There are some things that we ask you do as often as possible:

  • Read everyday - whether this is your school book or one from home. Reading is so important! πŸ“š
  • Practise your spellings ✏️
  • Complete your homework βœ”οΈ
  • Be kind to your adults, brothers, sisters or whoever else you are with. Make sure you say at least one nice thing a day πŸ‘¨‍πŸ‘©‍πŸ‘§‍πŸ‘¦
  • Make sure you go for lots of lovely walks and bike rides! 🚲

What we’ve been up to in Autumn 1…

Our first week in Willow Class…

After a fantastic first week, we thought we would share a few photos of our classroom. Miss Thompson and Mrs Hunt had been busy getting it ready for our wonderful Class 1 children, who we were delighted to welcome this week.

The Book Vote station has been a huge success, with children being able to vote for which story they would like each day during story time. We also have an Investigation Station set up, which will change every few weeks in line with our learning. During our first week back, the theme was Autumn. The children loved creating leaf rubbing art and looking at all of the different leaves and conkers through magnifying glasses.

We’re so glad to see that the children love the classroom as much as we do and look forward to an exciting half term ahead!
