This is the class page for the Y1 / Y2 Willow Class.  We hope that it is a useful place to view pictures of activities and learning experiences as well as locate planning documents and other useful information.

Class Texts

Poles Apart by Jeanne Willis & Jarvis is our key text in Autumn 1 and will be used for our narrative writing. It is a funny story all about some lost penguins and an adventurous polar bear!

Poetry

We started our arctic themed writing unit with the poem Polar Bear by Spike Milligan. The children rehearsed different sections of the poem and performed together. We all particularly enjoyed making actions for the end of the poem!
