For the final term in the year we are learning all about farms! Our classroom has become a farm, with a farm house and yard where we have to look after the animals and keep the yard clean! We also have crops on our farm that we are looking after and hoping to harvest soon! Have a look at our learning about farms below...
White Post Farm Visit!
We had a fabulous day at White Post Farm learning about what happens on a farm daily. Unfortunately the class 1 school trip curse was still upon us and it rained all day! However, we still had a fabulous time looking around the barns and seeing all the baby animals. We were able to see first hand the life cycle of hens, something we had been learning about in Science. We also watched the farmer milk the goats and finally we had lots of fun on the indoor play equipment! Have a look at our photos below...
