Today we donated to the charity Children In Need by dressing up as a superhero or something connected with Pudsey Bear. Mrs Goodman made delicious biscuits and students from North Notts College came to face paint for those who wanted it. Hopefully we've raised lots of money for this worthy cause.
Anne Hickman from the Royal British Legion came into assembly today, to tell us about the work they do supporting war veterans and their families. Anne said that last year, her region raised an amazing £36,000 and that hopefully this year there will be even more successful. To end our assembly, Liam read a poem and Courtney and Sophie read a prayer. After assembly some of our guests stayed behind for a drink and a slice of cake, which added to our donations.
